The President will take part in the preparatory Council meeting

Tomorrow President Gitanas Nausėda will take part in a video conference of the European Council held in preparation for the Council meeting in Brussels on 10–11 December.

The Czech, Danish and Bulgarian leaders will also participate at the video conference chaired by President of the European Council Charles Michel.

The President of the European Council and heads of member states will discuss the Union’s solutions to tackle climate change and readiness to accelerate the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The Council will also focus on the EU response to the pandemic and its consequences. The EU relations with the USA, Turkey and Belarus will also be addressed.
