Monday, November 30, Vilnius - President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė received letters of credence from the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdul Rahman S.A.Al Hadlg.
In the meeting, the President and the Ambassador discussed the possibility to import liquefied gas from Saudi Arabia to Lithuania. Ambassador Abdul Rahman S.A.Al Hadlg underlined that Saudi Arabia was interested in exploring Lithuania's experience in agriculture. The discussion also touched upon the global economic situation.
The new ambassador to Lithuania started his diplomatic career in 1979 at the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has also worked for Saudi Arabian embassies in Mali and Italy.
