On Tuesday, President Gitanas Nausėda extended congratulations to the newly elected President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola.

“I look forward to working together successfully in strengthening the European Union, its resilience, competitiveness, and role in the world,” Gitanas Nausėda wrote in his message of congratulations.

The President wished Roberta Metsola strength, determination and every success in performing the duties of this responsible position.
