On the second day of the visit by the President of Poland, on Wednesday, Diana Nausėdienė and Agata Kornhauser-Duda visited the Center for Civil Education.
Poland’s First Lady was interested in the activities of this unique center, learned about the activities and expositions of the center.
The Center for Civil Education is a modern space for education that shows how a democratic state and its institutions work, how citizens can contribute to the formation and governance of the state, and how problems relevant to the whole society or local community can be solved.
The information presented at the center is developed together with the visitors: everyone is invited to find a personal way to interact with the presented material and share opinions via modern technologies and turn the exhibition spaces into a discussion forum.
Diana Nausėdienė is the patron of educational activities of the center. When the President and his team work in regions, a team of educators from the center also works travels together. The First Lady also participates in education activities and interacts with young people in regions.
