Dalia Grybauskaitė extended condolences to Russian President over the deadly explosion in Moscow


Monday, January 24, Vilnius - President Dalia Grybauskaitė extended condolences to the people of Russia over the bomb explosion in Moscow that claimed many victims. In her letter to President Dmitry Medvedev of the Russian Federation, the President wrote:

"Dear Mr. President,

The whole of Lithuania and I were profoundly shocked to hear about the bomb explosion in Moscow's Domodedovo airport that killed many innocent people. On behalf of the people of Lithuania and myself, I extend our deepest condolences to you, the victim's families and those injured in the blast. In this hour of pain and grief, I wish you strength and fortitude."
