The President: I call on the EU to deny market entry for unsafely produced electricity from the Ostrovets Nuclear Power Plant

In his letter to President of the European Council Charles Michel and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, President Gitanas Nausėda called on the European Union to take stringent measures in response to the launching of the Ostrovets Nuclear Power Plant and to cease the EU market for unsafely produced electricity from Belarus. The power generation was started in Ostrovets yesterday, November 3.
