President Dalia Grybauskaitė extended congratulations to Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, on the 56th anniversary of Kuwait’s independence. In her message of congratulations, the President expressed strong hope that the open dialogue between Lithuania and Kuwait at the bilateral level and within the framework of cooperation with the European Union and international organizations would contribute to the advancement of initiatives promoting sustainable development, general welfare and peace across the region.
