Magazine Forbes announced the 2018 World’s 100 Most Powerful Women list. Ten out of seventeen female politicians in the list are members of the Council of Women World Leaders.
CWWL is a unique network of current and former female Head of States. The President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė, who is also on the list, is a chair of the organization.
Angela Merkel, Theresa May, Sheikh Hasina Wajed, Jacinda Ardern, Erna Solberg, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, Kersti Kaljulaid, Michelle Bachelet and Ana Brnabic are among most powerful women this year.
It is 15th time when Forbes publishes a list, which celebrates the icons, innovators and instigators who are using their voice to change power structures and create a lasting impact.
Up to this date, Council of Women World Leaders has 70 members, who work to advance the participation of women at the highest levels of decision-making.
