President goes to Sweden and Latvia on her first working visits

Wednesday, July 15, Vilnius - Tomorrow, July 16, President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė goes to the Kingdom of Sweden and the Republic of Latvia on her first working visits.

In Sweden, President Dalia Grybauskaitė will meet with Sweden's Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt. The discussion in the meeting will focus on the EU priorities during the Swedish Presidency of the EU. In her meetings with economic and financial experts, the President plans to discuss financial stability issues and the global economic situation. President Grybauskaitė will also have a meeting with Sweden's Speaker of Parliament Per Westerberg.

As part of her working visit to Latvia, President Grybauskaitė will meet with Latvia's President Valdis Zatlers. The two Presidents will discuss bilateral relations and the future cooperation among the Baltic Sea countries. Also planned are meetings with Latvia's Speaker of Parliament Gundars Daudze and Latvia's Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis.

President Grybauskaitė comes back to Vilnius Friday afternoon.
