Your Majesty, On behalf of the Lithuanian people and on my own behalf, I would like to extend sincere congratulations on the occasion of the National Day of Spain. I send my best wishes for Your Majesty's continued success as well as for the lasting welfare and prosperity of your country and its people. I am delighted to note that our two countries are bound by strong bilateral ties and by their value-based membership in the European Union and NATO.
 
Dear Mr. President, On behalf of the Lithuanian people and on my own behalf, I would like to extend congratulations on the occasion of Croatia's national holiday - Independence Day. I send my best wishes for the continued success, well-being and prosperity of your country and its people. This year Croatia has celebrated her first year of membership in the European Union. A year ago, together with all Europeans, we were much delighted to greet a new EU member state with which we immediately started intensive cooperation on issues of importance to the whole of Europe.

Dear Mr. Secretary General, On behalf of the Lithuanian people and on my own behalf, I would like to sincerely thank you for your leadership of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and for your consistent and determined commitment to fully ensure the security of Lithuania and all NATO member states. This past April, Lithuania celebrated ten years of its membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Because of their historical experience, Lithuanians are well aware of the possible threats to our global security and peace, Therefore, we greatly appreciate your decisive role in adopting decisions that have made the people of our country and the whole region feel more secure.
 
Dear Madam President, On behalf of the Lithuanian people and on my own behalf, I would like to congratulate you on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Malta's Independence Day. I wish you, Excellency, and the people of your country many beautiful and memorable moments of celebration.
